Matthew 27: 36
“They finished nailing him to the cross and were waiting for him to die”
Audio: Station 10_ Woven collective.mp3

A
TITLE: Dolore Senza Misura (grief without measure)
ARTIST: Woven; Young Vocal Collective
MATERIALS: Collaborative composition by Brooke Baker and the Woven; Young Vocal Collective
REFLECTIVE: Your friend. Your mentor. Your mate. This guy you look up to and respect. He challenged your perspective, changed you and fi lled you with hope. And now he’s nailed – on way to death… It hits us all differently. Outside analysts talk about the Ku.bler-Ross Five Stages of Grief. Inside, it’s pain without measure.
B
TITLE: “Come one, come all!”
ARTIST: Jessica Davies
MATERIALS: Oils, acrylics, and chalk on ply, spotlights
REFLECTIVE: Imagine the spectacle – crowds gather to witness this demented carnival. Irony has perhaps never been quite so well defined as it was in the simple sign that hung above Jesus’ head.

This station really made me stop in my tracks. The vocal group was amazing and the acoustics and atmosphere really made a powerful effect.
