REFLECTIVE: Applying contemporary art ideas to a biblical passage is not an easy or usual thing to do. Informed by the artwork of Billy Apple, this work makes reference to his practice. This work reworks similar spatial ideas and elements to enable the viewer to experience a place of contemplative emptiness. How can a strategically emptied space be compared to the resurrection of the Christ?
